Plant Based Baby’s Baby Dhal Recipe
This is a great way to add some protein to your baby’s diet and it will soon become a family favourite. It’s also a great store cupboard meal that can be made in minutes. Make it in batches and blend it smooth for Stage One or leave the lentils whole for the rest of the family.
Ingredients:
One can low-salt lentils (or cook from dried)
5-6 curry leaves
1 tomato
Tsp cumin
Half tsp mild curry powder
Method:
Drain and rinse the lentils, then add them and a can of plain water to a saucepan. Add the other ingredients and bring to the boil, then simmer for a few minutes. Blend with a stick blender or in a food processor.
